With IrionDQ, a number of normalization, correlation, processing and control rules can be defined in order to shape and implement the required business logic.   The applications' "Query" and "Rule" engines are powerful, yet easy to use tools, that are designed to manage and evaluate related data in an extensible and logical order as defined by the user. 

Established data links enable a view of the external data as "virtual tables" without the need to actually store or load all of the data within the IrionDQ application. Easily defined rules are used to process the data to meet the end result as defined by the business case to which it is applied. 

IrionDQ's Query Engine is an extremely powerful tool that can be used in a multi-tier architecture allowing for better performance as needed. 

These engines can be further enhanced and extended with the use of libraries and / or external programs that can be integrated into the process (e.g. Excel ® with VBA libraries for specific calculations, statistical applications and libraries).
